October 15, 1975 - December 18, 2021
Michelle Ann Moralis Stovall affectionately known as “Chell” was born on October 15, 1975, in Chicago Heights, IL. To George Moralis and Marlene McCann. Michelle grew up in Park Forest, IL and graduated from Rich East High School. She was baptized at St. Paul Church at a young age and was a current member of Gathering Point Church in Bourbonnais, IL. She worked for many years in the restaurant industry where she made many lifelong friends. She ultimately became a full-time homemaker and stay at home mom to her three beautiful daughters Ashleigh, Amber, Tori and handsome son, Tristan. Chell met her loving husband Lowell in 1985 at Shabonna park and would later reconnect in 2006, built a home in Bourbonnais and moved in their party of 5. Soon after the son she always prayed for came along and made them party of 6! Lowell and Chell would go on to solidify their relationship by getting married on November 12, 2008. She was then blessed with her 4 beautiful granddaughters (Payten, Mercedes, Meleighá, and Adelia) and quickly became a party of 10. Michelle’s family meant everything to her, she loved her husband, children and grandchildren more than anything. She loved all her children’s friends like they were her own and opened her heart to love strangers like they were family. She loved watching her children and grandchildren do whatever it was that made them happy, and she loved every second leading up to her husband coming home. She loved watching marvel movies in the theaters with her family and was everyone’s biggest cheerleader. She had a way of making everyone she spoke to feel special, heard, and confident in who they were and the choices they made. She loved all people, no matter who they were or where they came from. She put everyone before herself and made decisions that only came from a genuine place. She was never judgmental, letting her children learn from their own mistakes, best advice giver and always pointed her children in the right direction but ultimately let them choose where to go from there. Her favorite holidays were Halloween where her and her husband would dress up and trick or treat with family. She was the magic of Christmas every year traveling late at night leaving gifts for her children and grandchildren from “Kris Kiss”, their elf on the shelf. She loved the ocean, dolphins, sunflowers, watching sunsets, putting her toes in the sand, visiting her mom in Florida and vacations to Mexico. She was bold and honest and had a way of expressing her thoughts in order to create solutions, no matter how hard the conversation had to be. She carried herself with the utmost respect and had the ability to teach those around her to do the same for themselves. She embodied “treat people the way you want to be treated” every day and truly knew how to lead by example. Brave and strong facing everything like the lioness she was and rising even higher than before! She was a true warrior with undeniable strength and faith. In early November, Covid hit her home hard, hospitalizing her dad, her husband and then her all in the same week. She fought a long, agonizing, fight against Covid pneumonia and peacefully passed away with her family by her side on December 18, 2021.
