Michelle Lee Bewsey Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Michelle Lee Bewsey, 45, of Chebanse, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 8, 2022 at Riverside Medical Center. She was born March 26, 1977 in Kankakee the daughter of Mike and Tena (Davis) Sikma. On September 9, 2011 she married Rick Bewsey. She enjoyed crafts, reading, and spending time with her lab, Cleo. Michelle is survived by her husband, Rick Bewsey of Chebanse; her step children, Cole (Paige) Bewsey of Clifton and Katie Bewsey of Ashkum; her parents, Mike and Tena Sikma of Knox, IN; a sister and brother-in-law, Melissa and Jeremy Sparenberg of Momence; a sister-in-law, Veronica Bewsey of Ashkum; grandchildren, Cayson and Levi Bewsey of Clifton, Aria and Brielle Bewsey of Ashkum; nieces and nephews, Karli Jo Kelson of Momence, Kendall Sparenberg of Momence, Makayla and Ashlyn Armstrong of Ashkum, and Ty Billups of Ashkum; mother-in-law, Louanne (Tip) Homes; father-in-law, Rick (Susan) Bewsey Sr; as well as special friends, Don and Shelly Kimbro. She is preceded in death by her Papa Bill Davis, Grandma Margaret Ann Davis, Grandma Donna Sikma, and Uncle Tom Davis. Per Michelle’s wishes no services will be held and cremation rites were accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
