Michael K. Graves

Michael K. Graves, 67, of Bourbonnais passed away Thursday, December 2, 2021. He was born December 28, 1953, in Kankakee, the son of Ivan and Madeline (Skaggs) Graves. On August 30, 1976, he married Chyrstal Nutter in Kankakee. Michael retired from Security Lumber after thirty-three years of service. He enjoyed reading, old movies and going for rides. Pepsi and chocolate milk shakes were some of his favorite things. He is survived by his wife of forty-five years, Chrystal Graves; sons, Christian Graves and Jason Graves; daughter, April (Bubba) Isaacs; grandchildren, Jordan Isaacs, Kristen Isaacs, Jacob Isaacs and Zuri Bond; brothers, Bill Morgan, Billy Graves and Byron Graves; sister, Lyla Goldsmith. Michael is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Cynthia Brady, Gloria Fulford and Pamela Graves; brother, Mark Graves. Cremation rites have been accorded. Jensen Funeral Home in Kankakee is handling the arrangements.
