Jeffery (Jeff) Allen Kuhar, 68, of Clifton, passed on Monday, November 22, 2021 at his home from complications from an extended illness. Jeff died peacefully in his sleep. Jeffery was a lifelong farmer having farmed in rural Irwin and he retired from farming in 2009, providing custom farm crop application services to area farmers. Jeff was employed by Rabideau Grain as a truck driver since his retirement. Jeff enjoyed dining out with his friends at Crazy Joe’s restaurant and visiting the Clifton Public Library, where he appreciated the help that the staff offered and wishes to thank them. He is survived by his former spouse; Janise Kuhar of Chebanse, one son; Anton J. Kuhar (fiancé Alexis Ahrens) of Chebanse, a brother; Paul (Jane) Kuhar of University Park, FL., a niece; Jennifer Kuhar of Farmington, MA; a nephew; Kevin Kuhar of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., a niece; Lisa Shaw (Brian Hinkle) of Essex, great nephews; Logan Shaw of Gardner and Dylan Burton of Essex, a step-niece; Siera Craft (nee White) and Wil Craft of Donovan, an Aunt; Julia Lewke of Grant Park and a special friend; Denise Longtin of Kankakee. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anton P. and Ella L. (nee Leake) Kuhar, a sister; Veronica Lee Aten and Larry “Butch” Aten. To honor Jeff’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded by Jensen Funeral Home in Kankakee. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. Memorials may be made to the Clifton Public Library located at 150 E 4th Ave. Clifton, IL., 60927. Please sign his online guestbook at jensenfuneral.com
