Dionisio “Johnny” Villagomez, 54 of Bourbonnais passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Riverside Medical Center, Kankakee, IL He was born November 27, 1966 in San Pedro de los Naranjos Guanajuato, Mexico. The son of Jesus and Guadalupe Cruz Villagomez. Johnny was loved by so many. He did not know a stranger. He just loved people. Johnny was always the life of the party and had the gift of gab and could always make people laugh. He loved music and throughout his life was in many different bands. Landscaping was his trade and was great at it. He took a lot of pride for all the jobs he did. Johnny loved Mexican soccer with America being his favorite team. All the memories that Johnny has left us with are priceless. He will be greatly missed as a brother, uncle, father, grandfather, and friend to all. The hearts he has touch throughout his life will forever miss him. Until we meet again, Thank you Johnny for all the memories. Surviving family members are five sons; Drew and Monica Villagomez of Las Vegas NV, Luke Villagomez of Gilman. Four brothers; Julian, Rigoberto, Juan and Jose Villagomez all of San Pedro de los Naranjos Guanajuato, Mexico. Four sisters; Anna, Virginia, Lourdes Villagomez of all of San Pedro de los Naranjos Guanajuato, Mexico. and Maria Villagomez of TX. Many nieces and nephews with a special mention of nieces and nephew; Lupe, Marisela and Martin Villagomez all of Kankakee, IL and Gillo Villagomez of TX. Proceeding Johnny in death are his parents and a brother, Jose Martin Villagomez. Visitation will be Monday, May 24, 2021 from 4pm to 7pm with the service to follow at 7pm. Jensen Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. They are located on the frontage road at 3639 E. State Rt 17 Kankakee, IL 60901, make sure you are headed EAST on Rt. 17. Burial will be Tuesday afternoon at 2pm at Mound Grove Cemetery in Kankakee, IL In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
