David Brian Smith, 51, of Kankakee passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 in his home. He was born on July 7, 1969 in Kankakee, IL, the son of Roger and Rita Smith. David is survived by his significant other, Rosa Menard; his sons, Colton Smith, and Jacob and Tyler Menard; his parents; his brother Roger (Mandy) Smith; his niece, Delaney; and his nephew Weston and Nicholas. He is proceeded in death by his sister, Jamie Ann; his paternal grandparents Elton and Pearl Smith; and his paternal grandparents, Earl and Mary Moots. David was a wood worker by trade, and he loved spending time with his significant other and family. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
