Judith Ann Holdman

Judith Ann Holdman, 85, of Kankakee passed away on June 11, 2026 at her home. She was born on July 4, 1940 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Kankakee, Illinois. She was the daughter of Clarence and Frances Ravens. Her husband, Lloyd J. Holdman, whom she married May 5, 1995, passed February 21, 2022. After attending her school years at St. Rose Catholic School, she started her life journey as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to being a wonderful homemaker, Judy had various working roles in life. She worked as a supervisor at the Kankakee County Fairgrounds and Speedway, was manager at Up N Sub, painted and cleaned homes, and had furniture and auto painting businesses with her husband. Judy enjoyed watching westerns, listening to country and western music, word search puzzles, playing cards, spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids, and loving on her dog, Chico. Judy is survived by her two daughters, Christine Hager and Stacie Blair; her two sons, Rick and Terrance(Sherry) Jennings; her step-daughter, Tabitha Ravens; her grandchildren, David and Greg(Amanda) Hager, Sabrina(Cameron) Eisele, Garrett(Lexie) Blair, Daniel Jennings, Joseph Butzen, Dominique Page, Jennifer and Marshall Ravens; her 10 great-grandchildren, Beau, Blair, Wyatt, Pauline, Garrett, Trae, Bree, Farah, Graeson, and Luna; her three brothers, Ronald, Richard, and John(Virginia) Ravens; her sister, Barbara Corsaro; her brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Pam Ravens, Marcia Jennings, Judy Duggins, Mary Jane Cobb, Billy(Debra) Holdman; her aunt, Nelda Ravens; multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews; and her most trusted companion dog, Chico. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her two sons, Joseph and Darryl Jennings; her son-in-law, Donald Blair; her three brothers, Bob, Jim, and Joe Ravens, her sister, Deborah Ducharme; her brothers-in-law, Albert, Joe, Pat (Linda)Holdman, Harlan Cobb, and Richard Corsaro. Judy will be remembered for her perseverance, selflessness, empathy, grit, and the little firecracker that she was. Visitation will be on June 18 from 11am to 1pm at Jensen Funeral Home, Kankakee. Prayer service will begin at 1pm at the funeral home by lead chaplain at St. Mary’s, Deacon Pat Skelly. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery with final prayer in the cemetery chapel. The family would like to give special thanks to Catholic Charities, her caregivers at Addus, Main Street Pharmacy, the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital throughout the years, and Uplifted Care Hospice. Also, special thanks for all the love, help, and support from her niece, Tia Bisping, and longtime friend, Karen Brownfield.
